VIPTIX Is Moving Their Headquarters!

VIPTIX is moving out of our home at 505 Main Street in downtown Buffalo.

VIPTIX President & CEO Nick Giammusso and his Giammusso Development Company took a leap-of-faith and purchased the downtown Buffalo building in 2011. Giammusso Development completed renovations that brought an old building in the underdeveloped 500 block back to life! Giammusso split the space into two highly sought after Main Street storefront units. One of the units was leased to Hatchets & Hops who have called 505 Main Street their home since September 2016. The space that VIPTIX is vacating will be filled by a Beer & Wine Arts House with an opening early in 2018.

Why is VIPTIX moving?

VIPTIX will eventually move into another investment property that Nick co-owns.

“Technology and the nature of our ticket business allow us to work from anywhere!”, said Nick Giammusso. “Our employees will work remotely until our other office space is ready for us.”

Nick Giammusso along with his cousin Bill Chiodo purchased 38 Swan Street directly across the street from the Buffalo Bisons main gate at Coca-Cola Field. The three-story building dates back to 1864 and was the home of the Steelworkers Union. Nick and his cousin have started extensive renovations to the historic building. The first-floor work is now complete and both partners have opened a Buffalo-themed sports bar and restaurant named Union Pub in the space! The second-floor will expand Union Pub and be the crown-jewel of the establishment that will feature a huge fireplace lounge that will offer beautiful views and overlook the Ellicott Square Building and Fireman’s Park. The third-floor of the building will be finished and marketed as office space and VIPTIX will be occupying a portion of that space.

VIPTIX will be taking one-step back so we can take two-steps forward by the end of 2018!

Stay tuned WNY. You will be hearing a lot more from VIPTIX in 2018. The Company has big plans for the future We just can’t say anything yet.

505 Has Arrived!

VIPTIX Signs

For the past 3 weeks, many Buffaloians have walked past 505 Main Street, in Buffalo, wondering what was going on inside. After Buffalo United Martial Arts studio moved down to River Works, the space became a permanent home to VIPTIX, a ticket sales company. VIPTIX made its way to downtown Buffalo from Williamsville, NY because owner, Nick Giammusso, saw an opportunity for his business to grow. Centralizing his location to downtown would make buying and selling tickets faster and more convenient for him and his customers. With the Threatre District, First Niagara Center and Coke-a-Cola field all in walking distance of this new location, VIPTIX found its self in a prime location for success.  The only problem was, with the lack of signage on the building, no one knew the VIPTIX business was there. This problem was quickly resolved with the addition of three major signs to the Main Street space; one representing the 505 location, one showing the VIPTIX flashy logo and one silhouette of fans at an event. These three signs have drawn much attention to the space and really made the customers and employees feel at home!

The next step for Nick and 505 is to fill the vacant side of the building with a long term retail tenant. He has now owned the building for 3 years and has had plans to move his business in
here from the start. With the relocation finally complete, Nick can start to find a tenant that would fit. Not only is he trying to fill the vacant space, but Giammusso has plans to expand the building.

“I do plan on adding two additional floors of apartments to the building in the future once a tenant is secured in the first floor retail space,” says Giammusso. When it is all said and done, 505 Main Street will be for ticket sales and whatever retail endeavor comes its way. Catching the eyes of people walking in the city of Buffalo, 505 Main Street is no longer a building in question, but a destination for potential customers. Come on down and see what all the fuss is about!!
