Pink will get the party started for Super Bowl LII on Feb. 4 in Minneapolis.

According to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, the singer will perform the national anthem before the championship clash. NFL Network passed along the Monday announcement from the network’s Good Morning Football:

On Saturday, Pink said on social media there were “secret” things she was looking forward to in 2018 she couldn’t yet reveal:

I’m really looking forward to 2018. I’m really excited about the Grammy’s. Tour. Some other stuff that’s a secret still and I can’t wait til it’s not a secret. I’m also excited for trump to lose his twitter password and also I’m excited that I have dope hair.

Lady Gaga sang the national anthem prior to Super Bowl 50 and was then the halftime performer for last season’s game.

“Gaga’s well-received performance at Super Bowl 50 helped open the doors for her halftime gig the following year, so perhaps we should start looking at these assignments as something of an audition in front of 111 million people,” Hanzus wrote. “That doesn’t sound stressful at all.”

This year’s halftime performer will be Justin Timberlake.

Now all that remains to be determined is which teams will play in the Super Bowl. The New England Patriots will host the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Divisional Round, while the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings will host the New Orleans Saints on the NFC side.

BILLS TICKET PRICES SOARING AS DEMAND FOR PLAYOFF GAME INCREASES | SPECTRUM NEWS

By Spectrum News Staff  |  January 2, 2018 @6:46 AM

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Dreaming off a warm getaway in these frigid temps? The first Bills playoff game in nearly two decades is as good of a reason as any to head south.

Buffalo will face off against the Jaguars in Jacksonville where it’s about 45 degrees — not exactly scorching heat, but compared to Western New York recently, definitely warm.

VIP Tix President Nick Giammuso says there are about 1,500 tickets available, but the demand is far exceeding that. Giammuso says Jacksonville fans are wanting the tickets just as bad, as the the Jaguars haven’t had a home playoff game since 1999.

He says upper level tickets started at about $285, but now they’re more than $400. A ticket for a 50-yard line seat started at $750, and now they’re $900 or more. Between Monday morning and Monday evening prices went up across the board about $80.

“Whether they will continue to go up or not, we watch the supply side a little bit and right now the supply is still there,” Giammuso said. “So we may see prices level off by Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday or Friday, prices may go down a little.”

Emphasis on the word may.

As of Tuesday morning, there are still a lot of tickets available online, with some fetching prices as high as $2,100.

As for flights, round trip from Buffalo to Jacksonville leaving Saturday morning and returning Monday range from about $670 to $1,000.

Some would say it’s a steep price, while others might argue that it’s a priceless situation.

Kyle Williams celebrates his first NFL touchdown and Bills fans celebrate advancing to the playoffs after a 17 year drought.
